This is old school Florida death metal band Monstrosity playing at Maryland Deathfest 6 at Sonar in Baltimore on 24 May 2008. Oddly enough the crowd started getting smaller by this point as Ghoul surprisingly seemed to be the biggest draw of the night. Monstrosity isn’t my favorite death metal band, they’ve always been sort of a B-list band in that genre in my opinion, but I’d never seen them live so what the hell? It wasn’t a bad set, mostly some of their oldest songs mixed with songs from the newer album. The current singer for Cannibal Corpse, George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher used to be in this band, tho if you care you probably already know that. Anyways, you can see the video I took at this show of their song from their first album, Imperial Doom by clicking the title: Final Cremation
