Chantilly High School Touch of Class Classic Rock Medley

Chantilly High School’s “Touch of Class” is entering its 25th season of performance excellence. These highly skilled and dedicated students provide an outstanding professional stage show that makes a memorable and lasting impression. Throughout its history, Touch of Class has performed in numerous presentations, including radio and television appearances, regional and national conferences, conventions and major concert events. Every Memorial Day weekend, “Touch of Class,” in conjunction with the award-winning Chantilly Jazz Band, closes its performance season with the two-hour musical review “Jazz and Pizzazz,” thrilling more than 3000 audience members with an extravaganza of music, song and dance. Touch of Class has received tremendous recognition as Grand Champion of the Central Virginia Show Choir Invitational, the North Carolina Show Choir Invitational, the Blue Ridge Show Choir Invitational, the Mid-Atlantic Show and Jazz Choir Festival, the Fiesta-Val Music Festivals and the American Music Festivals. In addition, Touch of Class has represented the state of Virginia in 12 national competitions. Performance venues have included The Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre in Chicago, Il., the Will Rogers Theater in Branson, Mo., the Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego, Ca., the Main Stage of Disney World’s American Gardens Theatre, the Hard Rock Theatre in Orlando, Fl., and Washington DC’s own Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. MEET DEE Dee Caspary choreographed and was Director of Staging for Justin Timberlakes 2007 FutureSex/LoveShow. Dee recently choreographed a Macys Stars of Dance performance on ABCs hit show Dancing with the Stars, as well as the 2008 ESPYs with Justin Timberlake on ESPN. Dees National Commercial credits include Dayquil and Verizon Wireless. Dee has influenced dance all over the world in such places as Australia, Japan, Canada, Italy, Guam, New York and his hometown of Los Angeles. He has directed and choreographed live events for Billboard Live, Hard Rock Café, Oakley, Key Club, and The Stone Movement. Dance Magazine said, Dee Caspary is the modern day Fosse of our generation. Dee has choreographed for professional companies all over the world including Odyssey Dance Theatre (Utah), Evolution Dance Company (LA) and has had the opportunity to debut his work for four straight years at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood – premiering A Time No More, The Glass Case, The Last Letter, and Inferno of Sin. Dee has worked with greats such as Kenny Ortega, Peggy Holmes, Jerry Evans, Bonnie Story-Baker, and performed live in front of Tony Award winning choreographer Susan Stroman at the Elan Awards in New York.
