Took this one a while ago when taking stills shots to use as backgrounds in an animated clip I was creating for a mate.
I never ended up using this one in the little clip, but was just reminiscing my way through some old piccies and thought I could polish it up a little. I’m thinking of going back and compiling a HDR or composite of this scene, so the foreground is as well toned as the background.
The subject itself serves to reinforce my firm belief that the Brisbane City Council is dead-set, head-over-heels in love with inoffensive, metal-silhouette sculpture. They’ve got them laying about nearly everywhere. I may start a set specifically to showcase Brisbane’s cut-out culture.
